ECI will join the European metals industry on 19 October in Brussels to discuss the challenges and opportunities of enabling Europe's low-carbon transition.
Under the banner of Eurometaux—the European metals association—high-level speakers from EU institutions and civil society will debate the challenges and opportunities faced by energy-intensive industries, such as Europe's non-ferrous metals sector.
Topics for discussion will include how to keep Europe's producers competitive over the next two decades while they make the necessary innovations to produce their materials more efficiently.
ECI member Aurubis will be represented by Mukund Bhagwat, Corporate Energy and Climate Affairs, on the ETS and Clean Energy Package panel. More Information Copper: A key facilitator of a low-carbon economy
